  RMRP Behind-The-Scenes Tours
The Rocky Mountain Raptor Program is offering Behind-The-Scenes Tours to those who have an interest in our lifesaving and life-changing work. You will see first hand what it takes to help these amazing creatures heal and prepare them for release and A Second Chance At Freedom! You will have the opportunity to learn about treatment, food preparation, and rehabilitation. You will visit with some of our Education Ambassadors, raptors that are unable to be released back into the wild. Your tour guide will be a knowledgeable staff member or volunteer, who will be happy to answer questions. Tours last about 90 minutes and are limited to the first 20 who RSVP. These tours are designed for an adult audience. The tours are offered free of charge to attend; however, donations are gratefully accepted. Please send an email to judy@rmrp.org or call 970-484-7756 and indicate your preferred date, your contact information, and how many will be in your party

  LOW COST VACCINATION CLINIC
The Fort Collins Spay/Neuter Clinic will be open for low cost dog and cat vaccinations from 9am to 3pm. No appointments needed. Cats must be in carriers and dogs must be on leash. Microchipping available. Check www.fortcollinscatrescue.org for details and future dates or call 484-1861. The clinic is located at 2321 E. Mulberry St. #9, southwest frontage road at Mulberry and Timberline.

  Bark In The Dark - Full Moon Dog Walk
Join us for the 2nd Annual Bark in the Dark dog walk to raise funds for the Search and Rescue Dogs of Colorado (SARDOC)! We will take a moonlight stroll through Fort Collins starting in the Old Town Square downtown. Refreshments, music and good times for people and dogs alike. All ages of dogs and people welcome with more being better. An event T-shirt will be included with each registration. Registration is $25.00 All proceeds benefit SARDOC. Come walk with us! Costumes welcome. Teams welcome. Fun required. Come walk with or without a dog. Dogs do need humans with them to walk. Registration is open to the public.   17th annual Spay Day event at Foothills Animal Shelter
Throughout the entire month of February, in honor of Spay Day, Foothills Animal Shelter will be running an educational campaign on spaying and neutering. Whether animals are spayed or neutered at Foothills Animal Shelter, at a veterinary office or at another low-cost clinic, everyone is encouraged to help fight pet overpopulation by spaying or neutering their pets! In an effort to help more pets in the community, Foothills Animal Shelter will be offering two additional Saturday dates in February for the public to get their pets spayed or neutered. Low-cost spay and neuter procedures are available to the public every Tuesday, Thursday and Friday at the Shelter. In addition, all animals in the organization’s care are spayed or neutered before being adopted. De"Tails" • Dates: Saturday, February 12 & Saturday, February 26 • Times: Check-in for dogs will be from 7-7:45 a.m. Check-in for cats will be from 7:45-8:30 a.m. Check-out for all animals will be from 4-5 p.m. • Location: Foothills Animal Shelter (580 McIntyre Street, Golden). • What: Foothills Animal Shelter will be offering two additional dates for low-cost spay and neuter procedures for the public in honor of Spay Day • Appointments: Please make appointments in advance as space is limited!   Rocky Mountain Raptor Program’s 18th Annual Gala Dinner and Benefit Auction
The Rocky Mountain Raptor Program’s 18th Annual Gala Dinner and Benefit Auction will be held February 19, 2011 at the Fort Collins Hilton at 5 pm. Fabulous food, enchanting entertainment, and a stunning selection of auction items will all occur under the watchful eyes of the program’s educational birds of prey. Several of RMRP’s Educational Ambassador Raptors will be attending. Will you? This event has become one of Fort Collins’ premier fundraising events. Guests are amazed by the variety and quality of silent and live auction items from leading artisans, craftspeople, and businesses in northern Colorado. Purchase your tickets now! Call 970-484-7756 for tickets. Guests will enjoy a festive dinner, quality live entertainment, and can bid on wonderful silent auction items. The live auction begins at 7:30, and will be conducted by Bill Seaworth, entertainer and auctioneer extraordinaire.   1st Annual Animal House Yard Sale & Crafts!
Get ready to clean out YOUR house for Animal House! Starting March 1st, we will be collecting donated items for our upcoming 1st Annual Animal House Yard Sale & Crafts!
